OSLO PILOT invites you to the launch of Siri Aurdal’s sculpture Bølgelengder - rekomponert (Wavelengths - recomposed) in The Vigeland Park on Saturday August 27th at 2 pm.
The new version of the sculpture that OSLO PILOT is installing in Vigeland Park will be displayed in a three-part horizontal configuration that reshapes physical material while also alluding to a rearrangement of social relations. This open and low-lying form contrasts with the vertical and masculine designs that characterise most of Vigeland’s sculptures. —› Read more
"Consolidate or Die” is the first exposure of the overarching project City of Dislocation, which is a two-year investigation of important historical landmarks about to be vacated as newly merged institutions move into new headquarters. The first part of the project explores five iconic buildings: The National Gallery, the Museum of Modern Art, Oslo Public Library, The Munch Museum and the Museum of Decorative Arts and Design. 21 January – 1 May, OSLO PILOT Project Room.
